Many of our clients aren't aware of the opportunities and resources that are available to them, and it is our job to make sure they are taking full advantage of all of the programs that they qualify for.

 

We have successfully assisted our clients applying for various assistance programs:

 

• Food stamps

• Health insurance

• Social security, etc.

​These applications are complex and we assist our clients in understanding the program they are applying for.

 

If an interview is necessary, we help prep our clients to relay the necessary information.

An extension of our social services program is to provide hygiene training, toiletries and clothing to clients in need. We frequently encounter clients that have not been taught the basic concepts of good hygiene and we provide them with the tools and educate our clients of the importance of cleanliness to their physical and mental health. 

 

Occasionally, we provide transportation services either in person or via uber to our clients in need. There are situations when public transportation schedules conflict with work, interview or appointment schedules. In these instances, IBA Career Services, Inc. provides its clients a sense of comfort knowing they have options.
